GBP King ("we," "us," or "our") operates the GBP King platform, including the web application and Chrome extension (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash). You may optionally provide a phone number, company name, and website.
Business Data: We store the business information you manually enter into the platform, including business names, addresses, service descriptions, and keywords. We do not access, scrape, or pull data directly from your Google Business Profile.
Generated Content: Posts, review replies, and Q&A content generated through our AI tools are stored in your account's content library.
Usage Data: We collect information on how you interact with the Service, including features used, timestamps, and error logs. This data is used to improve the Service.
Payment Information: We use third-party payment processors (Stripe) to handle billing. We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive financial data on our servers.
Chrome Extension: The extension uses activeTab, scripting, and storage permissions solely to function within your active GBP browser tab. No browsing history is collected or transmitted.
We use the collected data to: (a) provide, operate, and improve the Service; (b) process payments and manage subscriptions; (c) send transactional and automated emails (receipts, password resets, plan updates, welcome emails, and feedback requests); (d) enforce plan limits and prevent abuse; (e) provide customer support; (f) comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+). We implement access controls, regular security audits, and intrusion detection to protect your data.
While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, accounting records).
We use the following third-party services: (a) Stripe — payment processing; (b) OpenAI / Google Gemini — AI content generation (your prompts may be processed by these providers subject to their privacy policies); (c) Cloud hosting providers — infrastructure and data storage.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) correct inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; (d) object to or restrict processing of your data; (e) data portability.

Welcome Email: When you create an account, we automatically send you a welcome email from no-reply@gbprofileking.com to help you get started with the platform.
Feedback Request Email: A few days after you sign up, we may send a single feedback request email from feedback@gbprofileking.com to ask about your experience. This email is sent once per user.
Unsubscribe / Opt-Out: Every automated email we send includes a link to your profile page where you can manage your email communication preferences. You may also opt out by emailing privacy@gbprofileking.com.
Feedback Data: If you choose to respond to a feedback request, your feedback is used solely to improve the Service and is not shared with third parties.
We use session cookies and local storage to maintain your login state and preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
